Our History..

In 1978, Navy veteran and assistant college Professor, Brian Baker realized a dream to set new standards in the appliance service industry. The opening of the first Baker’s location in Woodbridge, Virginia started that tradition of outstanding customer service at competitive prices. To keep his customers satisfied; Brian put together a team of unmatched professionals, each of them the best in their particular field.

Suzy Baker, Brian’s wife and business partner soon joined the team adding twenty years of appliance sales experience and more than 20 years of accounting experience.

The dynamic Baker team soon found that a second location was needed to serve their growing customer base, so in 1996 the second store opened its doors in the Fredericksburg area.

Baker’s Inc. has discovered a business niche in their Virginia communities, tapping a market share of people looking for services that Baker’s provides. Brian and Suzy have discovered a method of establishing businesses that provide goods and services to homeowners as well as business owners.
